1.   Attention:  Farmer’s Market Closed, August 20:  The Marymount Farmers Market is going to be closed, for one day, on August 20 because Marymount University has student move-in day. They are using a new system and are unsure how the logistics will work even without the added stress of the market. The market will be open as usual August 27-November 19.

2.  Arlington County Fair:  August 17-20 at Thomas Jefferson Thomas Jefferson Community Center,  3501 Second Street South

fair.jpg There is no public parking at the Fair and parking on nearby streets is restricted to neighborhood residents with temporary permits.   Bike Arlington and partner Two Wheel Valet have teamed up to provide free valet bike parking on the tennis courts.
