“Shred for Bread” is a spring cleaning of your financial
and other personal papers for a good cause. ProShred, a professional shredding
company, is generously donating their time and service to shred your personal
papers in a safe and secure way—right there on the spot. No need to remove
staples or paper clips, they’ll shred as is (five bag/box maximum, please). With
identity theft on the rise, shredding personal papers is a must these days. In
return for their services, please bring some non-perishable food items to donate
to the Arlington Food Assistance Center, which is in great need of more food to
feed those in need in our community. You’ll get rid of your clutter and help the
Arlington community with your donations. The event will be Saturday, April 9,
2011, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Little Falls Presbyterian Church, 6025 Little Falls
Road (near Nottingham Elementary School). The truck will be in the parking lot
behind the church on the Williamsburg Blvd. side. It is also a good opportunity for community service for kids. Anyone interested in that part can contact Eric Yoder at eyoder@msn.com. |
