Seniors Activities Offered by Arlington County

posted May 18, 2010, 7:28 AM by RockSpring CivicAssociation

Arlington County sponsors a host of activities for seniors, including two senior centers located nearby on Lee Highway. Judy Massabny, County Office of Senior Adult Programs, wishes to reach out to seniors who are alone and need a friendly, welcoming place to go as well as to new retirees and to the adult children of older parents. To give Rock Spring Civic Association (RSCA) members an idea of the types of senior activities that are available, we are happy to list below the June schedule of Seniors programming. To learn more about the program and planned activities beyond June, residents may visit the Arlington County website: and type in "senior activities" in the search box, or try the following link to Arlington senior activities.

Age 55 and older adults  may participate in all of  the following activities by registering with the Office of Senior Adult Programs ($15 annual fee, which includes a 36 page bi-monthly publication, “Arlington County 55+ Guide.”)  Registration forms are available by calling 703-228-4744 or by visiting a senior center.

Any questions regarding the program should be directed to:
