Bus Stop Changes Along Columbia Pike

posted Aug 2, 2010, 9:06 AM by RockSpring CivicAssociation

Work is underway to underground utilities along Columbia Pike from S. Wakefield St. to Four Mile Run. The project is part of a comprehensive effort to transform the Pike into a “Main Street” to better serve one of Arlington’s most diverse cultural and business areas.

To ensure the safety of all work crews and the community during this and other projects in the right-of-way,  MetroBus and ART bus stops at Columbia Pike and Buchanan St. will be temporarily closed and relocated. The links below provide additional information about specific bus routes and alternate stops.

This utility work will last about 15 months.  If you have questions or comments regarding the construction of the Columbia Pike Utility Undergrounding project, please contact Kamal Taktak at 703-228-7527, Arlington County Government.
